Commercial Electrical Project delivered on time and on budget

The commercial electrical project for Keith Street Childcare Centre is the second early learning centre to open on the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus to meet the growing demand from staff and students.

Cu2 Electrical was responsible for the complete design and construction of all electrical, security and communications for this fantastic new facility.

We installed underground services (pits, pipes and cabling) around existing sporting ovals and buildings for 300m, from the transformer to the new site main switchboard, and onto the building main switchboard.

We also supplied and installed underground fibre and copper backbone cabling to the existing network, which was more than 500m away in the existing campus.

All this work was done while the university was open, which meant we had to work closely with University staff to organise and complete the project with minimal disruption.

The project was completed on time and on budget, with nil defects.
